RANGOLI CELEBRATIONS

Description: Colors have the power, to directly influence the soul…….. colors can speak to the soul in a thousand different ways..!!!! On the occasion of Diwali an Inter House Rangoli Competition was organized on 25th October, 2019. Rangoli is a fabulous hand drawing art of India which expresses imagination through the use of colors. On festivals, people welcome gods and goddesses to enter their houses with good health, wealth, peace and fortune. For Rangoli, a proper planning beforehand is required. On the occasion of ‘Diwali- The festival of Lights’, this year our students came up with most fecundity in their designs. The yellow house made two beautiful peacocks, other houses stood as marvelous with green house’s peacock, blue house’s lotus(with a special message of say no to crackers) and the very divine concept of Goddess (Devi) with gorgeous eyes by Red House. The centre Rangoli which was by the junior school stood apart from all the others. The best part was that only natural colors, leaves, stems, wild flowers, petals and stones were used. Yellow House won the competition which was judged by Mrs. Saraswati Bhandari and Mr. Jeevan Pandey.
