CJM Hampton Court celebrated Harela with a special assembly conducted by Class VIII B. The assembly began with a prayer and poem. The assembly also included a play emphasizing the importance of caring for saplings and taking responsibility.
Harela, a traditional Uttarakhand festival, symbolizes prosperity and greenery with the onset of monsoon. The festival is also associated with Harvesting. CJM Hampton Court also undertook a plantation drive around the school campus to play an essential role in saving the environment.
Principal Sr. Ivy, in her address, highlighted environmental awareness. Sister focused on the need to be mindful and be responsible citizens of the town and how to contribute positively to environmental protection. Harela reminds us to protect nature amid pollution and deforestation. Small eco-friendly steps make a difference.
