Description:
As part of the Foundress Week Celebration, a special assembly was conducted on 24th July 2025 by Class 7th A and B to honour the life and values of St. Claudine Thevenet, the beloved Foundress of the Congregation of Jesus and Mary. The purpose of the assembly was to reflect on and promote empathy, a value deeply lived and taught by St. Claudine.
The assembly began with a short introduction about St. Claudine, highlighting her compassionate heart and unwavering faith during the hardships of the French Revolution. Her life serves as a shining example of loving others, especially the poor and suffering.
To bring the theme of empathy to life, the students performed a thoughtful skit showing acts of kindness and understanding in daily situations. It reminded everyone of the importance of putting oneself in others’ shoes.
A meaningful Bible reading was shared, followed by inspiring thoughts and quotes related to empathy and kindness. A heartfelt prayer was offered, followed by melodious prayer song asking for grace to live out the values taught by our Foundress.
The assembly concluded with a motivating speech by the Principal, encouraging students to follow in the footsteps of St. Claudine by living with empathy, love, and faith in action.
