Description: CJM Hampton Court observed International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm, bringing together students from Classes 1 to 12. The event was divided into two sessions: first session for Classes 7-12 and second session for Classes 1-6. Superior and Manager Sr. Anita Matthew, Principal Sr. Ivy, and Sr. Fabian were present to encourage the students. The students participated in various yoga asanas under the guidance of Ma'am Seema and other yoga instructors. Through yoga, the students learned valuable techniques for managing stress, improving focus, and cultivating inner peace. Yoga, a holistic practice, promotes physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, and the students benefited from its numerous advantages. The practice incorporates breathing techniques and meditation to promote overall well-being. It unites the body, mind, and soul, bringing balance and harmony to our lives. The celebration concluded with a sense of accomplishment and a renewed commitment to wellness, aligning with this year's theme: "Yoga for One Earth, One Health". Principal Sister Ivy highlighted the importance of mindfulness and self-awareness, explaining how yoga helps us cultivate a deeper understanding of ourselves and our environment. She emphasised that regular yoga practice can lead to improved concentration, reduced stress, and a greater sense of calm, ultimately contributing to a healthier and more balanced life.
