CJM Hampton Court celebrated 79th IIndependence Day with enthusiasm and patriotic fervour despite low turnout due to persistent heavy rainfall. The chief guest, Mr. Rajat Aggarwal, President of Traders and Welfare association and the President of BJP Mussoorie unit, graced the occasion.
The programme began with a prayer service for the country. It was followed by flag hoisting, and speeches that focused on significance of freedom, instilling patriotism, and vision for country's future. The programme was conducted by Class X, under the guidance of Ma'am Abha, Sir Ashish and Ma'am Namita.
Mr. Rajat Aggarwal in his address remembered the freedom fighters and highlighted India's growth since independence and emphasised the importance of unity, love and harmony in contributing to nation's development.
A token of love and appreciation was presented to the Chief Guest. The programme concluded with the School Song. Sweets were distributed among the students, teachers and staff to celebrate the day.
